The Fit Yummy Mummy system by Holly Rigsby is specifically aimed at mothers who want to get back to their pre-birth shape or better if their pre-birth shape needed improving.
The main product is a 110 page guide which takes you through exactly what to expect and how to prepare yourself mentally so you stick to it and get the results you want (we haven’t seen that on many diets and it is definitely important).

The Good & The Bad:
Pros
- Teaches you how to eat healthily for life not just go on a short term diet.
- Easy quick exercise plans, just 90 minutes a week so it can fit around the busy schedule of a new mother.
- Easy to follow nutrition advice so you don’t have to cook lots of exotic things and take lots of time to do it.
- Lots of nice little touches like a sample shopping list and a fitness journal etc for you to print out and save you some time.
Cons
- Have to eat every 3 – 4 hours to follow the plan which can be tricky at times.
- A lot of bonuses to distract you and overwhelm you, some of quesitonable value, we advise you to read bonus reports 1 & 2 from our list above then save the rest for a few months down the line when you have taken action on the main content.
It then gets into nutrition and there are 4 different plans which you cycle through 4 times each to cover 16 weeks in total. Each section tries to get you to learn 7 good eating habits and you learn a couple each time you get to that plan so that hopefully by the end you are following all of them and eating sensibly and healthily.
Then it moves onto wokring out and you’ll be pleased to know the workouts are just 90 mins a week in total (30 minutes per session or two 15 minute sessions), and you get taken through a variety of different schedules you can follow so you can fit it round your weekly activities.
The exercises are all relatively easy, no scary exercises with huge weights, just starting with bodyweight exercises and using a medicine ball and exercise ball, then moving on to use some dumbbells as well (you could use bottles of water if you don’t want to get any dumbbells).
You are given an introductory set of workouts for if you haven’t worked out in years, then you get beginner, intermediate, advanced and some bonus advanced workouts too! So you have a nice progression over the 16 week program and can build up to the advanced workouts.
Then finally it tops it off with all the templates and information you need at the back of the guide, so you get a fitness journal template and menu templates, a sample shopping list and an exercise library where the author illustrates every exercise and walks you through it.
There a ton of bonuses with the basic package and they are ok, but some just seem bolted on and repeat exercises from the main guide, and it will probably confuse you more than motivate you to read through all the different methods in the different guides.
We purchased the deluxe version which also gives you about 5+ hours of mp3’s, two of which are interviews with the author which just go over what is in the book but can help you to better understand the system. The other two are good – one on eating right by a leading expert on the subject and one on time management for busy mothers. The audios can be quiet at times but as long as you can crank the volume up then you can hear everything.
You also get about 38 minutes of videos of the author performing the introductory and beginner exercises and full routines for you, along with a nice voiceover to take you through everything. The videos are extremely small, but the exercises are pretty straightforward so you can still see everything going on.
You also get 60 days free access to Club FYM which is a membership site that gives you new workouts every month, has an active forum, 5 different coaches to help and motivate you and lots of tips on a blog and videos etc to help you out.
If you stay on then that is $9.95 a month, I advise at least checking it out and getting some use out of it for your free trial, then just cancel if you don’t want to continue (you can cancel from within the site you don’t need to even email them).
The Conclusion
Although gaining back your pre-baby body can be quite a huge deal, but it has become relatively simple with the personal experiences of the instigator and her tasks with other moms to get fit; she has worked hard and categorized everything in simple steps which is easily understandable for beginners.
Besides the above mentioned features, there are also many extra benefits to give you your body back in simple steps such as, checklists, do’s and don’ts, workout conspirator, along with some recipes that you can start cooking immediately.
All in all, my Fit Yummy Mummy review clarifies what the product really has to offer. Above all, I reflect the program is one of the best that I have ever found on the internet because the information and details are very simple to know and with the use of Fit Yummy Mummy it’s a win-win situation for all the worried mommies out there.

I love the FYM plan. I found FYM 5 years ago and it changed my life: the way I ate, the way I exercised, the way I snacked. It really was a lifestyle change. It is well worth it!
